Debugging the Analyze Button

Common issues when running analyze button and how to solve them.

1. There isn't enough data over time

  • To diagnose Group the data by the time period you chose (month/week/day), and click the plot to see if there's data for >3 time periods. There should be at least three.
  • Why it failed The analysis assumes that there is enough data historically (at least 4 data points) for each time period chosen (month/week/day)
  • How to fix it Choose a shorter time resolution and run the analysis again. Ex. If it failed when you chose month, choose week instead.

2. The selected "Analyze the impact of" feature doesn't does have enough values

  • To diagnose Group the data by the feature column you chose, and click the plot to see if there's more than one value for that feature. There should be at least two.
  • Why it failed The analysis seeks to find the best and worst value of that feature you selected. If there's only one option to choose from, it fails because there is no value to select.
  • How to fix it Choose a different "Analyze the impact of" feature that has more than one value in it.
