Anomaly Detection on Data Processing

Narrator now supports anomaly detection on transformation processing. You can get automatically notified and (optionally) pause processing before your activity transformation makes an anomalous update.

Useful when:

• You're worried about production changes impacting business-critical reporting metrics
• You want to be notified when upstream data stops updating or changing drastically

How it works?
You can enable anomaly detection on any transformation from the Processing Config, under Advanced Configuration.

Once set up you can choose:

• Percent Diff: If the change in total records per minute exceeds the specified percentage, an alert will be triggered.
• Do not update if anomaly detected: If checked, this will stop the processing from happening if an anomaly is detected.
